And then it is tri day! This time tomorrow I will be body marked, transition will be set up and I’ll be getting mentally ready to race myself. I have a goal for this tri, the goal is to beat myself - to beat my last years Lavaman time. I’ve been told this is a faster course, I’ve been working my ass off - I now have new pedals on my bike that I haven’t yet tried out (will happen today) I have two wetsuits one is too big and the other I haven’t tried on yet (again doing it today). I don’t want to write down my goal (T and i did that a while ago iAd I left it at home on purpose) and i forgot my watch at home - so I figure I am going to go out there tomorrow morning and give it all I have, every last bit of strength and heart I have - I plan to cross that finish line knowing that I have given it everything and that there was nothing left and if that is what happens then time won’t matter (ok fine maybe it will a bit ;)
