marathon training sheet is complete!
YIKES!! i just sat at my computer for the last 45minutes putting together my Marine Corp marathon training program. that just wasn't smart
so i ran 10 miles this morning with my training buddy - somehow i have convinced a good friend of mine to do all my 1/2 marathon and marathon training with me at least the long runs - yeah she is kinda awesome is so many ways.
and the not so smart thing - after running 10miles and then eating some food, i came home took a shower and then decided it would be a good idea to paint the living room -...

i beat the slow cooker
Pulled pork tacos - well i had paleo tortilla like things and the guy had regular tortillas…but OMG the pulled pork!!! it is soooo f’n good! and i have 4lbs of pork to go through, which once cooked down is probably less…i wanted to crawl into the slow cooker and live with the pork it is that good. obviously i have a ton of left over meat and i am crazy happy for that!! i am now...

Random dinner
Yeah it was one of those nights where I just didn’t feel like cooking - so made some plantains - then I was stuck so went for some a couple of eggs and remembered we had some broccoli left over from last night. Added a little sriracha on top of the eggs (fried - runny yolk) put on top of plantains and had some broccoli on the side - turns out it was all pretty good :) I do love plantains so...

I am about to head out for a 9 mile run the longest since last June and really despite the fact I did a 1/2 marathon last June I did have to stop running at around mile 8 - so really this will technically be my longest run ever! I’ll see you all on the other side :)

yeah, yeah i know organic is more expensive…but we all spend money on gym memberships and the like to make ourselves healthier, but then we buy food that has been covered in chemicals - if you can even buy some of your food organic it is better than nothing at all and this is a good list of the ones to try to always buy organic…

Bay to Breakers recap
OMG this race is so much fun! 12k one big hill (really wasn’t that bad) salmon swimming up stream, nakedness (ok that part not too awesome - really flabby butts should not be allowed to run naked), costumes, a really good friend who ran her first 12k with little training and a lovely San Francisco morning all combined to make a great race.
