like for real, it is unbelievable how awesome they are!!  my one running partner - lets call her A has a foot injury and is unable to do the marathon or do the last long run with me.  we both have the day off on Friday though to do the 20miler - since she can’t run it she is going to meet me about half way on her bike with some more water and stuff and then do an impossibly slow 10 mile bike...

i think my doc is smoking crack
seriously i ran on my foot 4 miles and somehow i found the all up hill route - how is that even possible??!?!?!?  right now, my foot is hurting! like i have a slight limp and i wore my compression socks which my calves liked, but my toes did not now i have a blister…but really 4 miles it hurt - how and why does he think 12-14 is a good idea on sunday….i trust him a ton though,...

Modern dance
Yeah I just don’t get it. We had a modern dance engagement at one of my venues and yeah - normally there is something I can say I like and other than the dancers having amazing bodies there was nothing I liked about it - I’m going to now watch its the great pumpkin charlie brown - that I get :)

NSV and well ok doc...
first the NSV - i fit into the coat i bough the winter i moved to seattle - 7 years ago and the only winter it fit was that one….guess what?????  it fits again!! i can button it and breath in it! went to the doc for my foot today and i was like, i don’t know if i am going to be able to do the marathon, i haven’t really run in almost 3 weeks and my longest run so far was 16miles...

i don't know what to do
i’m supposed to run 18miles today. i ran somewhere between 3-4 yesterday and my foot hurt during, after and still does some now (depending on how i walk on it).  right now it isn’t too bad - after the 4 miles yesterday it hurt to walk all day and i found i was walking funky on it.  right now all i want to do is finish the marathon, i have no time goals, i just want to finish it.  it is...

I’m going to Ryan Adams tonight and then am getting up at 5am and running 18 miles - I realized yesterday that I was running 18 miles and that I probably haven’t been eating enough carbs - I had rice macaroni and cheese :) for dinner and then tomorrow we run - well I run, mostly on my own for this one too.

i've been a cooking fool recently
and today i made these Espresso Chocolate Bars and they are amazing!!!  I substituted raw cacao powder for the cocoa powder - seriously make these, you will not regret it - who needs the larabar when you can make your own and honestly i think these are crazy better than any larabar i have ever had…
